The Bike trip is a 10 mile trip from my place thru St. Petersburg. and back.
According to my Odometer. Finishing up with a 3 story parking garage.
The pictures were taken while riding a helicopter to Tampa.

Leaving the apartment, going down 4th Ave S to 1st S and then around
Bayfront Center onto Bayshore Dr. |
Take Bayshore drive upto Demen's Landing, ride thru the park
there.

From Demen's landing around the St. Petersburg Pier (Every now and then
stopping at the bar on the first floor to enjoy a cold one) and back
onto Bayshore Drive to the Vinoy Hotel. From here we ditch the roads and
hit the sidewalks. |
On the sidewalks, I ride the whole length of Northshore park. past the
pool, the racketball courts, the fisherman, the walkers, runners and
everyone else out there. There is a very cool looking Banyan tree
along this route. The end of the sidewalk is actually a bridge
that crosses a canal heading into a residential area. If I turn around
here and same route back home, It's 10.2 miles taking roughly an hour
and a half. |
